Build Quality & Weight

Apple’s iPhone continues to use the aluminum craftsmanship, while the Note 4 adds a metal frame. The LG G3 used a lighter plastic construction. The only plastic build phone in the comparison, the LG G3 weighs only 149 grams, compared to the iPhone 6 Plus and its 172 grams weight, and the Galaxy Note 4’s 176 grams. LG G3 has a reasonable height and width but iPhone 6 Plus is having big annoying size of bezel. Samsung has also done a good job minimizing its bezel.

Display resolution

One of the major differences among these phones is the screen resolution. The iPhone 6 Plus has the same 5.5-inch display size as the LG G3, but is the only one of the three to use a 1080p resolution display instead of the more pixel-packed Quad HD resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels.
On the display resolution front, the iPhone 6 Plus certainly falls behind, featuring a 1080×1920 pixel resolution on a 5.5-inch display, which translates to a pixel density of 401 pixels per inch (ppi). In terms of pixel density, the LG G3 is the clear winner, at 538ppi. The Galaxy Note 4 isn’t too far behind, at roughly 515ppi, due to its slightly larger display.

Camera

The megapixel war rages on among most handset makers, pushing up the number of pixels captured to 13 (G3) and 16 (Note 4) megapixels. Apple (and separately, HTC) takes a different tack, keeping megapixels steady at 8 for the rear camera and 1.2 for the front.  It comes with a sapphire crystal lens cover, auto-image stabilization, auto HDR, burst mode and other features. It is capable of 3264 x 2448 pixels and video at 1080p at 60FPS with OIS.
The Note 4 has a 16-megapixel 3546 x 4068 pixel camera with OIS, autofocus, dual-shot, HDR and the usual camera features. It is capable of incredible 2160p video as 30FPS and 1080p at 60FPS with OIS.
LG G3, which has a 13-megapixel OIS+ laser sensor camera with laser autofocus is capable of 3840 x 2160 video at 30FPS and 1920 x 1080 video at 30FPS, which is surprising and less than the 60FPS of the iPhone 6 Plus and Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Its rear camera controls are pretty handy.

Ultimately all the devices have good camera and it is difficult to choose best in terms of picture quality.
While coming to the front cameras, the iPhone 6 Plus sports a 1.2-megapixel front camera (f/2.2 lens), while the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 features a 3.7-megapixel front camera (f/1.9), while the LG G3 has a 2.1-megapixel front camera.

Performance

Apple iPhone 6 Plus has a significant improvement with a dual-core A8 Cyclone processor clocked at 1.4GHz with a Power VR GX6650 GPU and 1GB of RAM on A8 SoC. Though, the difference isn’t noticeable to most consumers.
On the other hand, while we know the chipsets the LG G3 runs on 2.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 with Adreno 330 GPU and Samsung Galaxy Note 4 runs on 2.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 with Adreno 420 GPU. RAM is 3 GB in both. Both are much powerful and are the performance devices. However, Apple with the outdated hardware, do good with the Software+Hardware combination Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has 3,220mAh battery  while LG G3 has 3000mAh battery

Software

On the software front, both G3 ans Note 4 run Android latest Kitkat 4.4 while Apple runs iOS 8. This time apple doesn’t seems to be user friendly with many inconveniences. There is nothing innovative in iPhone 6 Plus and with the big screen in iPhone with big bezels it is difficult because the back button is at the upper corner and home button at the bottom and also boasts a huge price tag.

Connectivity

As per connectivity is concerned, all of the three shares same features: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC

iPhone 6 Plus vs. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 vs. LG G3 Final Word:

The iPhone 6 Plus is an Okay device, with last year’s specs. Apple is where Android was at one or two years ago in terms of hardware. A 1080p display is being introduced now, when Android has had 1080p for quite some time and is now moving into 2K displays. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the LG G3 both have better displays. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 in particular is a multi-tasking beast, with hardware more capable than some laptops. The heart rate monitor is also available in Note 4. The LG G3 is somewhat less capable due to its Snapdragon 801 processor compared to Note 4 with Snapdragon 805 but its performance is more than enough. The laser autofocus is awesome and rear controls are handy. There is nothing innovative in iPhone 6 Plus and also boasts a huge price tag for everything lower than the both android beasts. Also, the expendable storage is not there in an iPhone. galaxy note 4 vs lg g3 vs iphone 6
